The Castle of Augstrose (German: Hochrosen), until the 16th century, was the Rosen Castle (German: Schloβ Rosen), the Vasall Castle of Riga Archbishops 14–16. In the century, the ancient Rozula city area near Augstroze Lielezer. Up to now 6-7 metres high parts of the southern wall of the castle remained. Wikipedia
