Võrtsjärv is the largest lake in Estonia as a whole and the largest water body in the Baltics. The largest one is below Peipsi, part of which is located within Russia's borders. Võrtsjärv borders three counties (Viljandi, Tartu and Valga) and three counties (Viljandi, Elva and Tõrva counties). Approximately 21 000 people live in these municipalities. Wikipedia
