Ķengaraga promenade, also known as the Daugava promenade, is located in the vicinity of Ķengaraga in Riga. It starts at the street of Ķengaraga and continues in the area of Rumbula as a cycling center — Darziņi. The promenade was created in 1901 with field stones, wooden stones, jackets and sands, reinforced by the flood protection wave of Daugava (i.e. Daugavas regulation "p" dam to prevent the washing of the land of the Manor of Mazjumprava and the surrounding farmers during spring floods.
